Carbon Aceh Pte Ltd was established to redevelop the Arun Field in Aceh, Indonesia as a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility.

The Arun CCS project will enable sustainable economic development while making a valuable contribution to carbon emission reduction targets.

Operations

Carbon Aceh has a highly experienced team of scientists and engineers with extensive knowledge of geological carbon sequestration.

Carbon Aceh has signed a joint venture agreement with PT Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA), an enterprise owned by the Government of Aceh to have the exclusive right to evaluate the re-development of the depleted Arun gas field for carbon capture and storage (CCS) which will contribute to turning the province of Aceh in Indonesia into a regional CCS hub.
